thanks! it's a 15v manix from the first run a while back. it's pretty much my ultimate non-salt knife. scales are green canvas micarta from bladescales and the ball cage is brass from flytanium.

Re: Manix Monday
I knew I liked how it looked lol. You really throwed down on that one lol. Way nice in my opinion. I just ordered a set of scales from them for a used Manix2XL, I just bought sight unseen more or less from Arizona knives website.
Couldn't get the Micarta, had to go with G10. I like G10 it’s really Tuff durable stuff.

Re: Manix Monday
I agree it is the best Manix. For me, the blade thickness is great. It is so wide that it tapers down very thin. It slices as well as my other Manixes in my experience. This is the one knife I would keep if I had to get rid of all others (though the Stretch 2 K390 is a strong contender).

Re: Manix Monday
Though there are "Manix Monday" pics frequently in the "What Spyderco is in your pocket" thread, I think a dedicated thread could be fun.
Where I live it is Monday already and so I´ll share an old pic of a Manix model I don´t have anymore, but I actually miss it. I think the translucent blue handle is cool and unique, and BD1N exceeded my expectations when it comes to the "ease of sharpening / edge retention" - ratio (like in sharpening is superquick and easy, but the edge holding still decent)

It's a Manix Monday your right. I got to scurry around here and see if I can find one... It's still early here, darn time change has me all messed up more than normal, which is saying a lot...

Hahaha, well Dan the past few weeks I've been working on a project a few hours a day at work, gets me out of the office and backdown to the warehouse and storage areas. I've missed getting a little dirty, and obviously being able to use my knives. I'll take it!

Re: Manix Monday
I had a LW Manix 2 in Rex 45, but I ended up selling it because I didn't love the ergos or the CBBL. But I am seriously considering giving the Manix 2 another go, but with G10 handle this time. I'm sorely tempted to get the Knifeworks exclusive in CTS-204p.
