Glad to see you got you 15V Military 2 vivi.
I'm frustrated because we ordered ours the same day, but...
The knife shop I ordered mine from said "Free 2-4 day shipping". Now a week later I still haven't received mine and am not scheduled to until the 13th or later.
Heck, it took the seller 4 days just to get it to the post office so it could be shipped...

Had I known they were gonna take a 10+ days, I would have not ordered from them.
Lesson learned...

Carrying my K390 P4LW until then is not a bad thing though. By the end of the week I hope to be able to try out the Military 2 & some 15V steel.

I feel your pain. I was excited for a new multitool and it took its time getting here. Now it turns out I have to ship it back too.

Hopefully your 15V gets there soon. Used mine to break down some cardboard too. Gonna see how long the factory edge lasts, then drop the angle on it free hand.

I don't think I've ever seen two posts in a row featuring Spyderco kitchen knives!

Not me, and a few days late, but the wife used her new Native 5 as a template for a Valentine's Day card.

I was tickled.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Very nice! I've been contemplating getting a Temperance 2. Been on the lookout for a fixed blade with a good steel but doesn't break the bank. This knife seems to do that.

How are you liking it?

I'm enjoying it more than I expected to. I really like how well the handle fills out my grip when carving wood etc. I've been using Moras, ESEE 4's, SRK's and SRKC's in the woods the past few years but this one has become my go to over those.

P4 helped me cut signs in half before tossing them in a dumpster.

They're all over the place, even though it's illegal here. Much bulkier than the other litter I collect too, which is inconvenient.

I vaguely looked into the Gauntlet awhile ago myself, and was surprised by the lack of angles, and also the fact that the settings it has are even shallower than the Sharpmaker. If anything, I'd like a Sharpmaker option that has one setting even steeper angle, not less. Can get by with something rubber banded in the middle, or now I see some 3D printed fittings to adapt other angles...
CBN triangles are great!
Going back to Caly.
