Found this listing on eBay. Says it is not branded, but it came up searching for "Spyderco Police".

Just because it shows a Police (?) doesn’t mean that’s the knife that ships (?).

Sketchy listing.

His other knife listings are not confidence inspiring either.

“Unbranded knife” & “manufactured in China”. I recommend “stay away”..

Your question surprises me a lot, as you are a specialist in the Police model range. Apart from the details that can be seen in the pictures provided in the offer, you may not have read the offer text, which clearly states that this knife is made in China. It must not have been your best day, Yab ;)

I know it's fake, but I don't see any trademark logo or branding (aside from the round hole), which are the legally actionable factors that I know. That's why I wondered if it qualifies legally as a counterfeit. I thought I'd post it here where @TazKristi might see and kick it up to legal.

It's a clone! Counterfeits have all the company markings on the knife which the counterfeiter is trying to pass off as a genuine brand name knife. Though these Chinese clones are cheap replicas, probably some kind of cheap pot metal for the blade! I would stay away from it.🤔
