I finally got one, and while I love, love, LOVE the design, I feel the execution or QC lacks a bit (I'm not sure which tbh) - mine has anemic flipping action as well, like someone else mentioned earlier. I'm kinda bummed about it, although it doesn't really impact its performance. It's a cutting machine, and this thing is beautiful.

Edited to add: it may have helped a tiny bit but not quite enough. It's still hard to get the flipper to hit hard enough to open all the way.
Manipulate the flipper tab like you're flicking a light-switch vs. pressing a button. Hold the closed knife spine up so gravity finishes the job for you.
Tried breaking it in a bit more, tried more oil last night as well. flipped it a ton more, got frustrated. Today I disassembled it, cleaned it well, reapplied oil, reassembled it, little to no change. I also tried sweeping across the tab instead of pushing down. I'm getting a little better, but still isn't as easy as I have come to expect with flippers. ah well, anyway it's still a beauty of a knife.

When I first got my GB2 the lock bar was stiffer than all get out. I just kept opening and closing and kept it oiled. Now it has become my EDC for the past several years.

It is certainly not a recommandation but when the feels too light for my taste (GB2, Domino, Dice, Spydieched), i enlarge the detent hole in the blade.
I do it by hand with a micro hand drill and carbide bit ranging from 1.1 to 2.1mm. Just need to find the original diameter of the hole and go .1mm larger, and no need to go deep.
One just has to reassemble often to not go too far
In the collection : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

this is an interesting idea. definitely agree with reassembly often tip. you can make the whole bigger but not smaller, so going in small steps is best :) I may give it a try
