Like this design a lot. This like a finger Flipper with that lug where it is? Never had one like this. That knife has one really nice point as well.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I remember when all these RIL frame locks & flippers seemingly flooded the lineup like mad all at once, and all the non-choil users seemed to snatch them up and praise them. Forums were filled with them. I thought it was the new way for Spyderco for awhile. Mantra variants, Southard variants, Peter Carey collabs, Lionspy, etc, etc
Then, suddenly they kind of just disappeared. Don't see them very often...
In some ways, I guess proven it was something of a trend?
In some ways, maybe too bad for current users who want these choil-less options? Sure there are still some options, but not as plentiful as I perceived it when those were new models...

Just got the Tenacious today, found on sale for a heck of a deal. Already had a couple 8CR13MOV variants, gifted 2 of them years ago to some friends, and kept one green G10 for myself. Ended up using it so much in my barn that when I saw they made it in M4, I was like oh yeah why not!
Just pointing out the similarities here how it's basically a folding Mule in my opinion.

On a much smaller scale (I am far from even being into Spyderco for such a long time yet) it is a bit the same for me with the Chap SE - as soon as I discovered the spyderedge in the first place I mused about how it would perform in the thin Chap blade with the (for me) "right" kind of serrations
.. and would be even more so should we ever see a Chap "XL" (which would be still a small Chap for your

Have a good day with I assume a Millie 2 in you pocket, Vivi!

I like how the two tones of the knife perfectly match the colors of your glove

Yeah, my hiking is also a quest to find nice picture spots and good places to smoke cigars. Too cold for the latter today so I kept moving.
