..
As far as reassembling the linered Enduras go,
Try putting the lockbar in last.
Assemble the knife with all parts except the lock bar and its barrel and screw.
Then interface the lock to the tang of the blade.
rotate the blade and lockbar until the lockbar touches the spring.
At this point, the lock bar will partially obscure the hole that the barrel goes in.
insert the barrel partially so it touches the lock bar.
continue to rotate the blade and lock bar together against the spring pressure. This aligns the hole that the barrel needs to go through. keep some pressure on the barrel as well so when the hole gets lined up, it goes right through, then install the screw.
Exactly how I do it, and what I meant by "lockbar last method" in my previous post!
Good explanation of that!
Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

If I may add this question to this thread, please:

Based on all of your knowledge, sal and everyome here, what will the future development of the Native and Endura models be?
Although I think my biggest fantasy would be an endura with a triad-lock and a thickness between 3,2-3,5 mm.

My take is that the Endura is a good, practical size, and slender in the pocket. With the Millie 2 you only gain .25" in blade, but the handle is much more massive than the Endura's and a lot of unusable real estate on it. The Endura's handle can be used the full length up and down. I have larger hands, wide and thick, and the Endura 4 just fits better overall. I do file down that first finger bump, though.

The G10 Endura was a really nice blend between the efficient size of the Endura, and the comfy G10 handle/higher quality feel of the Military.

One of the best general purpose pocket knives Spyderco ever made.

I bought the foliage green G10 FFG when they first came out.It was as close to custom quality as you could get in a factory knife. Its fit and finish was excellent. The mating of the lockbar to the blade notch was perfect.Blade play was nonexistent. What more can I say?

That Endura is perfect, I wholeheartedly wish that Spyderco would one day re-release the Endura with a G10 or Micarta handle.
