I will be getting all of my camping gear together this weekend and hopefully remember to grab the air mattress pump for our Candyman. This will be like 15 years in a row for me. Excluding the pandemic years of course. See ya'll there. :party-face

Super excited to come out for my third seconds sale! If all goes according to plan, I'll be in the line on Friday afternoon, looking forward to hanging out. Any suggestions on fun spydies to bring for a little show and tell?

I missed a couple a while back, but I've made a lot more than I've missed in the last couple of decades. See you there.

Keeping away and letting the “crazies” that come from afar have at it … you guys deserve it!

That’s great that there will be more space for this. I can’t wait to hear about it and see pictures. It’s even a fun experience for people who can’t make it, greatly appreciated. Overseas now for work now, but it’s on my bucket list to make it there one year.

I'm planning on going to this w/ my son. Got him a Para 3 for his b-day this year, and he is a Spyderco nut now! He is really interested in an Assist now. I'm hoping to find some K390/K294 goodness myself this year, regardless of them being seconds or not. Sounds like the real treat is the people.

Do most diehards show up Friday afternoon/evening? Contemplating it.

See you all there! If I'm late to the party save a Stretch 2 for me haha.

How early would you guys recommend getting in line to have a decent shot at snagging a few decent starter edc type knives.

Not looking for anything super rare, maybe a Native 5 LW and something a like bigger (pm 2?) I’m new to Spyderco but thought this would be a good chance to try them out without spending a ton.

I live 45mins away so I am hoping I could show up in the morning and hang out for a few hours to soak up all the Spyderco knowledge in line before heading in!

It is that time of the year again, the time when I wish to be living in the United States of America :zany

Hi Red Leader, Erlau,

Welcome to our forum.

While a the shop yesterday, I leaned that there are three people already there for the sale.

There are usually plenty of basic models even hours into the sale. Especially standards like the PM2, native, etc.

Thanks! And...

Whoa, wow. I told my wife, and she said "Doesn't it feel great to know there are other people like you in the world?"

But I have a job, so there's that :grin-squint

We'll try to make it Friday evening for at least a bit of the festivities.

In the past, the crew has kept hauling out trays of fresh stock all day, so no matter when you get there you should have a good chance of getting what you're looking for.

I thought about doing that, but my body told me I'd pay dearly for that many nights in a tent.

Erlau,

In years past I’ve gotten in line at about 10am. From there it took about 3 hours to get in the door. I have a sneaking suspicion it’ll go quicker this year.

Don’t worry about finding what you’re looking for, there are thousands of knives there. And like Yablanowitz said the crew brings out more during the sale.

If you’re looking for a certain model in particular ask a Spyderco crew member, they’ll be glad to help you find one.

The hard part will be deciding which ones to throw back after you’ve put them in your basket. (You gotta leave some for breeding, ya know. ;))

Hey Sal, has Spyderco ever considered getting shopping carts instead of those little baskets? :winking-tongue
