Maybe some here who know me a bit better might think at first glance: "Why on earth does his usual Salt 2 mountain knife look so long in that pic?" :smirk

Well, cause it is not the Salt 2 but first time out (and actually first time carry) for my very latest acquisition Pac Salt 2 SE... ;)
Was about time. Despite I have and love my Pac Salt 1 SE already, this new one brings some attributes on the table that I really appreciate (like ffg, the Endura 4 handle shape and even lighter weight)

/ Ah, yes, and like it seems to happen with every out of the box factory sharp serrated Spydie of course I did cut myself this time too... :grin-sweat

Right, it is kind of shocking indeed... ;)

But you know, for one I sometimes still desperately try to "reach" (or rather scale back to.. ) my original goal of "only" owning maximum ten Spydies at each point in time, so that I really get to use them all frequently.
No way though I can stick to that... it´s always rather like 15, but at least they are all real users for any thinkable folder tasks, none gets "babied" at all.
Still I thought I could be content with my serrated H1 Pac Salt 1 and my various Enduras... and not "need" the Pac Salt 2...

Then I was always hoping that instead of the ffg Pac Salt 2 my "dream knife", a plain jane VG10 ffg Endura SE (serrations just like the Endela) would come out and I could get that one....
But it seems that will not happen - and actually the ffg Pac Salt 2 SE has some slight advantages over the Endura, like an a bit thicker handle, an a bit stronger tip, and lighter weight.
I still though prefer the feel and balance of the more handle heavy linered Endura in hand, the flatter thumb ramp (when I rarely use it) and also VG10 over LC200N.
