A place to post and praise any fixed blades you may own or come across. There are no maker qualifiers here, if you like it, share it!

Hope to see heirloom, flea-market, forum find, new maker and old faithful designs. The Off-Topic forum needs a place to appreciate any and all fixed blades that you find noteworthy.

Hmm, seems to be a LOT of big Busse's showing up.
I guess there's a good reason for that !

Nice seeing a user Busse :cheap-sunglasses

Here's my stripped and modded dogfather. Basically a Busse Basic 9 in S7 - a stupid tough steel.

The second image shows one of my favorite small fixed blades. Dark Earth Cold Steel SRK Compact that I stripped, sharpened the spine, and gave a very thin convex edge.

No joke, it out carves a stock Mora. It carves wood very very well.

Even though I normally go for green when I have that option, something about this handle color with a stripped blade does it for me. I've got a few full sized in the same color, both SK5 and 3V runs.

Paid $25 for this knife and I like it better than knives I've paid $100-175 for. Extremely good value. At that price I bought 3 backups!

I got Farid's K2 in REX121 a long time ago, and when he had mules available, I grabbed one too and had scales and a sheath made for it.

Nice! I like that one!
Ideally I'd want it with a flat spine, but even as is, it should make a very nice camp knife.
Sadly it seems that not enough customers were convinced.

Hard question to answer because it’s subjective and everyone’s hands are different but how does the Cub feel? I think it’s about 4” and the Delica fits me well which is 4”. I really want to try one but worry the handle is cramped
