There's a Mantra 2 on AZCK for $180, right now.

I sold my heavily used Mantra 1 for more than that a few months ago, so it seems like a great price to me.

On my short list I'd like to add to the N5 CPM154/S90V a second Watu :open-grin

Should be possible in october. I really think this will stay one of my favorite blade for a very, very long time !
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Absolutely the sprint run of the military 2, that sports the S90V blade, w/ carbon fiber scales.
The C36CFP2...

I have been waiting for this one knife for way to long, it has been so long in fact that it's; I am not so patiently waiting lol...

I've got three Spydercos on my "short list", and they're all Sprint Runs, unfortunately:
  • Temperance, Plain Edge, CPM CruWear/Gray FRN (Sprint Run)
  • Temperance Trainer (Sprint Run)
  • Dragonfly 2, CTS Micro-Melt PD#1/Burgundy FRN (Sprint Run)
I'm not gonna get all FOMO'd up if I miss out on these, though. If I get lucky enough to snag them, that's good, and if I don't, I already have a Jumpmaster 2 (which is pretty much a Salt version of the Temperance) & a Dragonfly 2 in K390.
My most recent reviews:
Genzow HatchetHawk, Ikuchi, MicroJimbo

I’m actually thinking of jumping on a couple Byrd meadowlarks as they are on sale right now. One for me and one for my son.

Crucarta Military 2, and Gayle Bradley 2.

One day!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

A plain edge black micarta calypso jr. Is number one for me but they’re expensive and hard to come by, an original c54 pe too, but the original c52 in black micarta my fav knife of all time.
And I’ll keep my frn one around as more of a beater version of the knife. Other knives… an original lil temp serrated leaf, original ss atr, native 2 are some other sal designs I’d like to have, I’ve also been checking out a lot of the old Moki made spyderco collabs from the golden era like the zowada, shabaria, schempps n some others, there’s a lot of great knives in that era I love

there was a SS ATR posted to the crazy deals thread. https://www.northernknives.com/online-s ... p698528937

I owned one and liked it but the scales were a bit slick for my taste. Always wanted the black version because I figured it'd have better grip. The 2 solved this issue but came out when I was dead set against buying detent based locking knives. Really cool design, I akways liked the cobra hood and integral lock.

My list:

+ Native Chief Salt
+ Cruwear Temperence
+ Military 2 of some sort (maybe a DLC PE on sale, maybe hold out for a salt...)

That's for models we know about. Interested to check out the next reveal and see what's cooking in Golden.

Ooh, you tempt me! ;) thanks for sharing that man! Personally I haven’t had much issue with stainless handles being slick if the ergonomics are secure enough, which to me it looks like the atr gives a very locked in grip especially with the pronounced pinky hook at the back of the handle. Though I agree the g10 would be more functionally grippy the ss just makes the knife much more beautiful to my eye.
