My son has autism, he can do a lot of things for himself, but he will always need some help. I wish there was an answer, my son seemed fine, walked when he was 9 months old. When he turned 2 we started noticing small changes.

I am very sorry that anyone has this issue. I am not sure if this is an environmental issue or a birth defect?

I had birth defects that were corrected later in life, so I know how some of these things happen. I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and it was replaced when I was 57. The bicuspid valve had a profound effect on me athletically. I am lucky to be alive in some cases. Modern medicine saved my life.

I have no idea what the reason is behind autism, I am not well read on this subject. Didn't autism take off in the 80's?

That was right around the time the carcinogen PFAS/PFOA started to get dumped in the water, and vaccines for gradeschool kids took off. Don't get mad at people with ideas....what we need to do is to brainstorm the reasons and fix this issue ASAP!

I do not have any children. Had many gf and a wife but never had a stable income so I did not want to try having a family. I finally gave up on everything in 2002.

A google query showed me a snippet of an article that said, "Pediatrics in 2019 found that autism in the United States rose from 1 in 91 children in 2009 to 1 in 40 in 2017."

The fraudster concentrated on the MMR vaccine. Not sure other than dollar signs what he was all about.

At 64, there is no way for me to recall how many chilhood vaccines I had, but I bet the number of vaccines and additional shots was nothing like it is today for the average child. I may have had 5 to 7 vaccines. By the time a child is 2yrs old now, they might get 30 shots in total. I certainly do think this needs to be looked into. Parents and doctors mean well, but to much of a good thing, just might be too much for a childs system to handle.

MRNA vaccines have been used in the USA for 4 years. Nobody is claiming that MRNA vaccines are the cause for a decades long rise in autism prevalence. I think you are making that up on your own. The real question is: why?

There are many harmful materials that we are rapidly introducing to the environment and ourselves. Our food is far less nutritious than it was several decades ago, and it seems that many the technological advancements of today that have allowed for such things as social media have become major mental health problems for many. The net of more hazardzous exposure, less nutrition, and more stress, probably collectively contribute to more illness of all sorts.

I also have veiws of health problems that are not dictatated by government or health organizations outwardly stated opinions. They have consistently proven to look out for themselves and no one else, which should take no one by surprise. Because of this opinion I am usually considered a conspiracy theorist, but I prefer the term conspiracy analyst. My opinions are not untempered, and I don't follow any particular crowd. I also am not always right. My strategy is to look at evidence and human behavior to guide my conclusions, and often I end up somewhere in the middle of most peoples opinions.

MRNA vaccines have been used in the USA for 4 years. Nobody is claiming that MRNA vaccines are the cause for a decades long rise in autism prevalence. I think you are making that up on your own. The real question is: why?

Okay let me clarify this for you.

1 I know and have spoken with anti vaccine persons who have for a long time said vaccines cause autism.
This was before the current MRNA versions.

2 Now, many of these same persons are trying to claim the MRNA ones do that and worse.

3 I have always been an advocate for vaccination. Louis Pasteur is one of my personal heroes. I do not believe govt should penalize people for not taking them but we must stop diseases. Some of these anti vax persons have accused me of supporting the mass sudden death they claim are caused by vacciness.

1 do you have sympathy for me since these anti vaxxers are speaking bad of me?

Thanks. One of them posted a huge post saying I will face a government tribunal for support of human genocide! I said What?? For agreeing with proven medical science? He said we who are pro vax have the blood of millions on our hands. Ankerson, some of these guys are nuts.

I told him that I had a vaccine booster to protect from measles and he said there are bio engineered worms in my head now. Lol.
