KW CTS-204P Forest Green G10 Manix 2
Re: KW CTS-204P Forest Green G10 Manix 2
I just ordered one. For the same reason I have the Shaman and Para 3 versions. Worth while upgrades for very little more (less than $30USD difference) over the standard s30v/black G10 model. I like the classy look of the green G10.
I have a spare lighter spring, ceramic ball and titanium ball cage lock I bought to use in the BHQ mint green M4 Manix 2. I never ended up modifying it to be a take down, so I can now use the parts. Wins all round!

I was going to sit this out … I have a red 20cv manix.
But I can’t stop looking at it.
You got me .

So nice looking and in a good steel. I would have 100% bought this anytime in my knife career up until the last year or so in which I have become simply a Seki FRN lightweight fanboy.

Geez. That price.
Re: KW CTS-204P Forest Green G10 Manix 2
Yeahhh… I’m struggling with this one. I just got a magnacut manix LW and I’m pretty sure I’d rather carry that one.spydergoat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 2:50 pmSo nice looking and in a good steel. I'm gonna sit this one out. I already have an M390 Manix 2, and I'm saving my knife money for the CruCarta Manix.

Received my KW Manix 2. The green is really nice on the G10. I added a Flytanium aluminum green ball cage, ceramic ball and light spring from Knives Plus, and a Lynch deep carry clip with their Stone Axe finish.

Nice looking knife, to be sure. Manix just isn't the knife for me.
I missed the 204p Delica, being out of the game at the time, but I'd be all-in if they ran the Endura in this configuration.

Mine arrived late last week. The scales were a little more...grey, maybe?...than what I think of as a true "forest green," but regardless, I like them quite a bit. And I'm excited to have a Manix in 204P to compare to my 20CV Manix. Everyone says the steels are identical, but maybe that .05% extra tungsten will make all the difference. Probably not, but MAYBE.
Re: KW CTS-204P Forest Green G10 Manix 2
I have the KW Military and I always thought that 204P just ‘felt’ slightly different than 20CV and M390. The sound when sharpening it is a little different and I find it seems to hold an edge a little longer and be slightly tougher. There are a lot of variables in this though so I’m not sure if this is actually true.Hatuletoh wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 10:28 pmMine arrived late last week. Just got mine, would also love one in the LW version, though I don't think Knifeworks has ever done a lightweight exclusive, other than the Delica if that counts, which I also regret getting rid of
Re: KW CTS-204P Forest Green G10 Manix 2
I love this color, and while I'm not interested in another G10 knife, I will absolutely buy this in a LW model.

I know I said I wouldn't get one, but they have stuck around for so long and wore down my resistance. I must say it's very nice.

Such a beautiful Manix2 in dark green . I have passed on it too but since I completed my. Manix Crucarta journey interest in this exclusive once again is very tempting. . Dan

I got mine. Absolutely didn’t need it, but really happy I got it. It didn’t need the spring, ceramic ball or titanium ball cage. If I didn’t already have those items, i would have left it stock standard.

Yes, the forest green is very pleasing to the eyes.
