That's a gorgeous 1911 - can't get over how much I like it.
And, I love that it just has TRP in small letters
Not some billboard advertisement.
Not that there anything wrong with that, I just feel the small letters are more tasteful and look better
Love the finish on that 1911
If I were to get one it would that exact color you have. Nice score
Thanks I've got less than 500 rounds through it, but super happy with it so far.

And it probably runs like a top right outta the box
No use to put anywhere near 500 rounds thru her if she's runnin fine
I've got probably at most 200 rounds thru my Bul Govt Model
I mean to shoot her more but, I'm usually just too lazy too

A borrowed pic, but I just picked up a NAA mini mag (22 Winchester Magnum). It's cool, seems really well made. Have to be very deliberate loading and unloading. Have to take put it on half cock and remove the cylinder pin right infront of the barrel and remove the cylinder. Lots of opportunities to do something dumb when loading or when unloading live rounds. Still practicing with it before I take it to the range.

I had one.

There are only two gun stories.
The gun I should have bought.
And the gun I should not have sold.

You can fan that little pistol.
but wear a glove on the hand slapping the hammer.
It's sharp.

Thinking about an LCP Max for my next gun.

Any other pocket pistols you'd recommend I compare them to?

In .380, I have a Kel-Tec P-3AT that I like.
It is smaller and lighter than the LCP Max.
And lighter still when fully loaded with 6 vs 9 rounds.
A friend of mine has one and he likes his LCP.
Here is a comparator but it shows the Ruger is SAO.
Should be DAO. Probably just a typo. The rest may be accurate.
Curiously, the comparator does not show capacity
but you can also dial up other pistols to compare.
https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/kel ... er-lcp-max

Seecamp is not shown in the comparator.
They now make a .380.
Mine is the .32 and is the only pistol
that I have successfully carried
all day, every day up to a week at a time.
It is still my favorite go to pocket pistol
and I have tried a lot of them.
Beretta Jetfire, Bobcat and Tomcat,
Bond Arms .45 ACP derringer,
Smith&Wesson Airweight .38 revolver
and a tiny North American Arms .32 Magnum
to name a few.

All of them I wish I had kept
but back then I had to sell one
to have the money to buy another one.

In 9mm I have the Kel-Tec PF9
and a Kimber Micro 9 that I like.
If you have substantial pockets.

But the Kimber R7 Mako with red dot
I like a lot. Not a pocket pistol in my opinion.

I do not have any experience with it, but the new S&W Bodyguard 2.0 looks worth checking out as an alternative to the LCP Max.

thanks, I'll take a look. I came close to buying the 1.0 but I found the LCP series fit my grip better. excited to see the new version!

looks like a winner based on videos. Big fan of shields and their full sized pistols so this would fit right in with the rest of my carry pistols.

I'll check one out in person in tomorrow after work. He does a direct comparison with the LCP Max and the grip on the 2.0 looks better for my hands.

It also reminded me why I ultimately never bought the original bodyguard. Bad feeling trigger and low capacity.

I would be curious to hear your thoughts on it after you take a look. I have an (original) Shield and love it and considered a MAX for something a little smaller as well.

You might consider a sig p238 in .380. There's a 9mm version as well. If you use the extended magazine it should barely fit your hand, but be very easy to pocket.

I love single action only 1911 style guns and that's exactly what this is. Cocked and locked carry style, short crisp trigger pull, smooth action.

Only thing I will say negative about it is, like all extremely short barreled guns, accuracy past 10 yards begins to drop rapidly. Inside of 10 yards though, great groups.

My wife has a Sig p238. She carries it in her purse just about everyday. She shoots it pretty
Well too! I’m also a big fan due to its very easy too conceal. My daughter has the 9mm
Version which is also very nice. She let me use it for about 6 months.
I was hoping she’d forget That she lent it to me, and I was sad when she asked for it back.

If a person is jonesing
for a single action 1911 micro compact pistol
the Kimber Micro 9 is quite charming
and available in thirteen different flavors.
I like my Two-Tone a lot.

Haven't had much luck finding the BG2.0 in stores.

Reminds me of when the Shields first came out, they were nearly impossible to find that first year.

Whenever I try one out I'll try to remember to take an in hand photo to compare against my ruger lcp max.

The new S&W Bodguard 2.0 looks stellar! 10 round or 12 rounds, very small, & supposedly shoots great! .380 also.
