She’s a beautiful dog. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of an old beagle mix mutt I used to have. He would go for hours and seemed to never get tired. Lived to 18 years old.

Spotted this moth yesterday. After a little bit of research, I’m guessing the species to be a Copper Underwing. Maybe Macs app can work some magic!

Shot a quick sequence of hummer pics from landing to takeoff and it was maybe 10/15 seconds before another one dive bombed it…it’s rare that I see more than one at a time land on the same feeder but sometimes two will feed peacefully next to each other, super aggressive little suckers.

Our feeders are going empty daily . We don’t fill them completely because of heat . Population of Hummers in yard is slowly rising , wife got more sugar for our 17 feeders to be sure we have plenty . A lot of ambushing and chasing each other especially around feeders in open spaces . Dan
