Waiting for them to turn on plant hinders new ones. The grocery stores do it too. I’ve seen green ones turning orange. They charge more for red,orange,and yellow. But truth is a lot of those green cheaper ones just haven’t turned yet.

I used last years sunflowers seeds. This year they aren’t as tall nor as big but I didn’t buy seeds so I’m happy.

I was disappointed this year bought a package thinking I would try a different cultivar . They only reached have the advertised height. Heads were a lot smaller than last year too . I will go back to my seeds next year . Your Sunflowers look awesome . Dan
