Well, it looks like I'm going to miss out on this one. I've been trying for an hour, and I can't get the submit payment page to load.

Usually see more chatter here on the forum when knives are going fast. Keep trying. I think this knife might be a hidden gem. But we won’t know till we test it.yablanowitz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 10:15 amWell, it looks like I'm going to miss out on this one. Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
I was busy at the moment of the release, started 15 minutes later. An hour and a half, a call and an email later I still can't get the submit payment info page to load, just a blank screen.

Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
I have a master sushi chef buddy(he owns his on restaurant) who uses a PM-A11 mule that I gave him for certain, behind the scenes, tasks daily at his restaurant. I have occasionally used mules in my home kitchen as well.
p_atrick wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 8:08 amIf I were to purchase this knife, I would struggle to find a need to actually use it. I just don't do enough to really justify a fixed blade (I tap away on a keyboard all day). How would a mule work in the kitchen? XEOS has the properties that I think would lend itself nicely to the kitchen, but is the geometry way off? What tasks would it be good at? What tasks should I use a proper kitchen knife?

That’s odd. I didn’t log on till a little after 10:30am(CDT) this morning and breezed through the process of ordering two with a couple of other things.yablanowitz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 10:15 amWell, it looks like I'm going to miss out on this one. Four hours, two emails, one phone call, seven reboots, eleven cache clears and still no joy. Looks like I'm sitting this one out, like it or not.

Just give them and call and buy it over the phone. I have done it before with no issues, they will take a CC over the phone too.yablanowitz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 1:19 pmFour hours, two emails, one phone call, seven reboots, eleven cache clears and still no joy. I've done that back in the day, but the last time I tried it they wouldn't do it.

Sucks, been at least a year that I had to do it myself.yablanowitz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 1:40 pmI've done that back in the day, but the last time I tried it they wouldn't do it.

Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
After a long day of travel yesterday, I forgot all about the drop. Do I have to hand over my Spyderco Fanboy card? Anyways, just ordered one and a sheath. Now off to look at some wood.
Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
This was one of the easiest drops yet. Logged in at 8:01, ordered2, out at 8:03, shipping confirmation the same afternoon. Now to see what I have for wood.
Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
I’m voting for probationary status on your Spyderco Fanboy Card. At least till the next mule drops when you can redeem yourself. Now we just need someone to create the cards. Maybe LynchNW can make titanium fanboy cards?

Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
This went smooth and simple for me, aside from having to hop off of two simultaneous VPNs for work. Got 2, I figure rather than paying shipping, I'll just pay a little more for another knife.
Re: MT41P - VG XEOS Mule Team Dropping Soon
Oh yeah, I almost always avoid the $13 shipping charge by spending $75+ on another knife. It's not really the most sound financial strategy, but it's a fantastic way to justify purchasing another knife. I'm not spending more money on another knife, I'm saving money by not paying for shipping!defenestrate wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2024 6:48 pmGot 2, I figure rather than paying shipping, I'll just pay a little more for another knife.
