Orange you glad I asked?

#1

Post by olywa »

In the last few weeks I've picked up a couple of H2 SE Salts, those being a Tasman and a Stretch 2 XL. I'm pretty clear on the process for RIT dyeing the scales but was hoping to get some RIT color recommendations that would give me an orange that is comparable to the orange on my VG-10 Endura, maybe even a skosh darker? I appreciate any suggestions y'all might have.

Rit dye website has recipes galore for all sorts of hues. I used it to get a nice Forrest green for my originally mint green M4 endura. Came out quite close to what was advertised.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Just not sure whether to go with a red and a short soak, or a dark orange and a longer soak.
