Just got my tracking number as well for the Zoomer from Chicago Knife Works
Did yours actually ship out yesterday?
It appears that mine has just sat there all day with a label made.
BHQ ain't no DLT....or KSF, or Knife Works, or Cutlery Shoppe,
I'm gonna call and see if can just run up there and get mine.
Shipped on the 26th and I just got it awhile ago today. It's very nice! I need to get a sheath made though--this sheath is nicely made and all but it's kind of ridiculous. Knife is fantastic in the hand; it just needs a pancake kydex sheath and I can actually use it
For all that talk I did of them being super sharp outta the box (which, the first one I had was!!) This thing is pretty much dull!
I was really suprised + it's actually a little dirty from the factory- really suprised about this.
Nothing a good sharpening or cleaning can't cure though.
Just a big difference between this one and the first one I had. The first one was a real gem!
Was yours dull and dirty too?

Yeah mine came pretty dirty and snags trying to cut copy paper. I'll probably use it for awhile before I put a secondary bevel on it--it'll be a shame; I love the grind to the edge but I don't have the skill to maintain that. Mine has a goof on the grind by the plunge, too, but that's nitpicking. Still love the design and the handle and the price is close to fair where we got it maybe (in 2024, at least.) If I can sort out a sheath we'll be in business.
Hope you're happy enough with yours...for me the main miss is this sheath but I think I knew that going in. I've got a waterway and an enuff coming so I'm going to cool my heels a bit
Mmm no I’m out but I’ll snag a picture of mine. It’s a minor asymmetrical grind. Didn’t even notice until you asked about mine and I really looked it over
I just did a thread asking Sal if I could send mine back to sharpened correctly- dont know why I didn't think of that to begin with.
You may wanna do the same.
BladeHQ has Enduras in M4 for 79.99. Not sure how long it will last but picked one up to try out. M4 will be a new for me, and excited to see how it performs.

The M4 Enduras are still showing 79.99, now with free shipping for US orders. I couldn't resist at that price...

The Endura is just to big for me, yet for $79.99 I could not resist giving one a try

M4 and 52100 are my two favorite Spyderco steels. I think that you will enjoy the edge retention of M4 but it does require light maintenance.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.
