How are the ergonomics working for you vs the yojimbo? Good fit for you?
my hand fits in the cutouts, but it's a little tight. and it's too big to really stretch farther to put my pinky on the last section. there's definitely only one way for me to hold it in the hammer grip, but it works and i'm enjoying the fact that it's a cool looking spyderco with the longest blade i can legally carry. i used it a bit at work today and love the fine tip, just like the yojimbo.
while i never thought the ergonomics would work for me on this knife, they are definitely passable. and, to be fair, the yojimbo is the same for me in that it's not the most comfortable knife to hold. they are just too cool to care though. also, the texture reminds me of the recon and i like it.

they do have a really similar texture. I didn't really pick up on that from photos, so it surprised me. The regular recon has a more typical texture to the g10.
Definitely one of the coolest models spyderco has put out. Always makes me think of batman for some reason.

same! i actually considered customizing a pair of yojimbos in a batman theme. it's pretty low priority though, so i'd have to basically be out of other knives to buy before doing it.

I've only held the Yojimbo and Yojumbo, but they are both very comfortable in the hand to me.
i should probably clarify... to me, the manix is the perfect knife. it feels like it's an extension of me when i hold it. as such, i judge all others by it. no spyderco i've held has been too uncomfortable for me to carry. none have really been uncomfortable. neither the yojimbo nor the yojumbo have hot spots for me. they just don't fit my hands as naturally as the manix.
