Neat idea. A 3" Kopa would be a sort of Spyderized version of the knives I carried as a kid, which were traditional slipjoints with no blade longer than 3". Pocketknife patterns such as the Teardrop, Sodbuster, Trapper, Canoe, etc.

I just miss when spyderco did more “special” handle materials, as opposed the to the majority of them being plastic now. I really like that about traditional pocket knives. That’s what I love about the kopa series, traditional more premium handles with Sal’s famous blade and handle geometry. Last time I can think of when they did that was the sage 4

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
