The time has come and the pondering has been completed for this weeks decision... can I please get a drum roll?

I love coffee and I love Damascus so had to go with Nebuchadnezzar stunning combination as this weeks winner...
Image

Runner up was hotly contested but the edge went to (see what I did there?) MrJ fire and Moon shot!

Image

congratulations to all the submissions... and now, post away for the Turkey Week Photo Award!

Thanks, figured MrJ had it wrapped up. The Stretch is a bit of a ringer tho.

Looking forward to turkey week submissions.

I never liked the look of the Manix knives, of any sort... until I got one and started using it! Now it's become a go-to tool and I drool over photos of other's Manixes, so I need to pay proper tribute. This is my only Manix and my only SPY27 and I'm smitten.

Welcome to the club brother!
Glad you decided to give the Manix a chance!
By the way out of all the different Lw Manixes i find the Spy version the most beautiful! I recieved one as a gift from my brother and i adore that one aswel! By the way fun fact. Originally it wasnt suposed to be that color but the Frcp handle material just wasnt able to match the color of the Frn spy knives like the native! :zany And personally i am glad for that! :beaming-face

Thanks! I've been impressed and safe to say I've boarded the Manix train. Thinking about tool steels and how I might use the knife differently :thinking

Agreed. I've been surprised by the balance and usefulness of the design. I'm *worried* I may have to try a G10 version at some point.

Thanks! And I agree about the look of it being awesome now that I've seen the light. I couldn't believe the color when I first pulled it out of the box - incredible! I didn't know that about the color of the material re: the Native, but I did feel like it was unique. I have an S110V Native 5 LW and while that handle is plenty handsome, I'm really glad they arrived at the unique teal on this handle. I sprang for the Lynch NW matching clip and all of a sudden I can't not put it in my pocket? Sometimes I even carry two knives now? ha!
