Yeah certainly looking forward to hapless, helpless roasts suffering brutal bladed beatings by the destructive doctor!

I once had a :spyder: police model custom engraved for my best friend. I don't have any pictures of it, it is a unique piece. I think he loved the knife. I like engraving a lot, but have the feeling that you should only do it on a presentation knife. I would never engrave my own knives for myself, but i'm a guy that found out that i don't have one picture of myself hanging in my house!
Probably because i don't think i'm special enough to take a picture from myself. I already live there, why should i put up pictures of myself? :D

A question for those who have had successfull dealings with Ron Cochran: is he back in action? I sent him a Police model last Autumn and I've heard nothing since. I know he went through some personal travails, but he has been posting on Blade Forums lately. I'd love to have that work done on my Police, or at least some indication that he recieved it.

Also, a good source for engraving would be great. Any links??

I just put a black clip of one of my other FRN knives to my blue Rescue 79mm for extra rust protection.

I have 4 engraved SS Spydies that were part of group orders through Glasshartt. The web engraving on all 4 extends onto the blade. On the Native I went one step further and had my Forum name engraved on the reverse side.
