To what fictional character do you compare yourself?

[quote="jaislandboy"]Hey there JD, Barnabas Collins is a name I haven't heard in quite a while]

Alright Brian...now I do not feel so "old"! :p I recall being scared by Barnabus when my gramps would be watching it on TV, and I used to collect "Famous Monsters" magazine! Along with Fangoria, Vampirella, Creepy...LOL!

God bless

You know, had I not found my wife when I did, I may have been there

Now seriously, I think I was that impressed by "Fight Club" because the guy there (Norton / Pitt)... could have been me

Cool Chad! I'm glad i'm not the only Monster Movie fan here... I especially dug Vampirella when I was a kid! ;) ... The scariest vampire I remember seeing was played by Christopher Lee (ya know, Count Dooku) in some Hammer film eons ago!!

DARK SHADOWS!!!!!!!!! by far, my favorite television show! i've seen all 3,000-some episodes, many of them multiple times. even own some on DVD! when i was in college, i wrote a very long paper on the show for a graduate-school-level class... the paper eventually won a school-wide essay contest!!!

even though i'm "only" 23 and the show is way before my time, i've been a fan for years...

man -- that show really had EVERYTHING. i love how they just recycled the same company of actors, giving them different identites in different time periods... there are 2-3 hilarious episodes where they travel "forwards" in time to the 1990s... :D it looks like the end of the world!

incidentally, a promotional photograph of barnabas collins hangs right above the light switch in my bedroom... :D

ok -- rant/fan mode off...
