i think i've seen people call for the native to be a kind of folding mule team. it's certainly a popular model. my only criticism of the native is how thick it is. it's still a great knife, but i wish it either had its old hollow grind and swedge back, or had delica thickness. maybe it's meant to be a heavier duty knife than the delica, and that's okay. like i said, it's a great knife. i just find it a little too thick and slightly less enjoyable to use compared with other knives.

UKPK or Manix 2 XL.

Voted for the UKPK but both would get my money.

Only 1 on that list deserves an alternative steel and that is the Manix XL.
All other have a zillion variations already while the poor XL is always over looked and still at the same time very well loved while its “only” in s30v. So i hope Sal&co finally do this design justice and give the 15v treatment!

This is still my favorite design overall but I have to admit that the thickness behind the edge has made it less appealing over time. I can't wait to be good enough to regrind all of my Native 5s !
