as I've been waiting somewhat anxiously for this puppy to finally show up, I'm glad that it's finally materializing but man... I forgot the frustration of seeing that email from a dealer that it's in stock just for them to be gone already in the seemingly eternal amount of time it takes me to tap a fake button on a phone screen. smh. y'all with M2s already must be topping off some super secret list of individuals who get notifs way before a peon such as myself.

honestly, it was easier getting the first REC Para 3 exclusive with CTS-204p even after the first drop attempt crashed their website. i guess with that we at least had a date and time instead of depending on the ever so efficient email system

Wow, this knife is everything I dreamed of. I just unboxed it a few minutes ago and it has nearly perfect centering, and the action is already very smooth. I added KPL but didn't loosen up the pivot, it is good to go already, drop shutting freely. It's kind of unbelievable that I've been carrying the OG Military for years and have never been able to carry it tip up; now that I have a Lynch clip installed for tip up it feels so right. The biggest deal for me personally is the ergonomics. I always noticed the lock bar cutout on the OG Military when I gripped the handle and it was a little awkward feeling. Now that the Military 2 has the compression lock that cut out is on the back of the handle and my index finger has a solid purchase on the knife. I am really looking forward to all the upcoming Sprints and Exclusives. I think this will be the only model I buy from now on, until I have about 5 variations. We all know that S90V and CF Sprint will be so sweet.

I also am not a fan of the pm2 / para3 but i love the looks of the millitary. Only thing on my mind is that do i need another jumbo knife since i already have the K2 and a resilience. :woozy

It feels like a totally different knife in hand. I just got mine yesterday after work so today is the first day carrying it and so far… so good!

Bdubs808--Is that a Lynch Spyderco Long clip I see on that new Millie? I hope so, because I've ordered one from Lynch NW already intended for my Millie 2 when it arrives at last.

Maybe I'll grab a digicam DLC instead of standard DLC. I had a D2 Military with a heavy patina blade swapped into digicam scales and it was pretty cool.

Yes indeed, that is a long Lynch NW clip.

That´s cool indeed... and does it have an extremely low edge angle or does my cell phone screen deceive me... ?!
Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

Very low edge angle. It was fully convexed except for the apex which I'd touch up on the sharpmaker.

I used to push geometry a lot thinner than I do now. I had a ZDP189 Caly that made this Military look thick.

I love the plain version of this knife, I’ll probably buy the SE version as well and right now the only other version I’d want is a s90v or cruwear Ti/CF configuration somehow…
