I have been using my St Nicks Military in CPM 4V ever since they dropped...food, cardboard, pallet banding, etc. - the usual. Been holding up really well - I've sharpened it twice? I think, since getting it. It'll be in my pocket for a while yet.

Cutting the only thing more expensive than a Spyderco habit... magnetic tape for a shaft speed sensor. This stuff is $100 per foot so I'm not very happy with the guys that pressure washed it away.

After some light machete type work in the backyard, I decided to put the Subvert to some hard use:

I used my K390 Stretch for cutting drywall the other day. Hit a few staples, only minor damage with a 15 dps edge. Will throw it on the KME a bit later

If you can remove that knife from the block does that give you the power to rule the hen house?SaltyCaribbeanDfly wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 5:01 am

Used my s110v UKPK to fashion an emergency nappy (I believe they’re known as ‘diapers’ in some parlances) out of a mattress sized incontinence pad for my littlest son, after his bed time nappy mysteriously disappeared on our final night of holiday on a tiny island in the South China Sea.
No shops and no spare bedding?! Spyderco and a bit of ingenuity to the rescue.
