Goddard sprint run impressions

I'm thinking seriously about getting one of the new Goddards next. After the bite that Dodo took out of my money, it will be a little while before I can do it, but I want to know what you folks think of it. Since it's a collector's item, I wouldn't use it for any hard stuff, but it looks like a good occasional EDC. With the length and size, it seems like it would handle and preform similar to my Native. Either way, other than my little Navigator, I don't have a full plain edge Spyderco in my collection, and the Goddard looks really classy to me in plain edge. What do you folks have to say about it?

I have a Goodard in my pocket at this moment . It is a great knife a definite EDC in my opinion , love the deep choil and blade design . I would love to see the JR. version come out in a Grey handle .

I always thought the Goddard was a good design, but never got around to buying one until the "grays" came out.
After purchasing the one, I was impressed enough to end up with a total of THREE!
A plain edge & combo edge are for my collection, while another plain edge has become my EDC.
Pretty much a perfect blade shape(IMHO) along with extremely sharp VG-10. I'm a happy camper!

The PE Goddard is a hard user! It shrugs off solid thrusts without even dulling the tip and my edge is still as good as the day it came out of the box. I'm getting another one or two not to collect but in case I ever lose this beater. Plus, the grey it comes in only makes it that much sweeter!

It handles something between my Native and my Delica. There is a very good place for the thumb to rest and the grip is really comfortable. Nice feel to the balance. A matching JR. is the only improvement needed.
