Lot of firsts I'm enjoying with the new Smock:
First Spyderco > 3", first non-FRN, first flipper on bearings, first compression lock.

We’ll have to wait until tomorrow - miraculously, work involved zero cardboard today.

The good news is hat both stayed comfortably out of my way all day, with the P3 taking the front right pocket and the Bugout the rear left.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I'm a couple of hours behind again but yesterday's knife was a SPY27 Mule Team.

I'm surprised at how much excitement there was around here for the drop of this knife, but I've barely seen or heard a peep about it since.

Can´t wait for your thoughts on the Salt 2 SE!!

But keep in mind: For me it is not the best overall performer I own, not even a Spydie that really "speaks" to me.

- WHAT the Salt 2 ffg Se is for me: Just outstanding and unmatched by concept in its "capability to weight/footprint" ratio.
- Perfectly optimized to be the best just in case "separator" when one actually want to carry almost nothing.

Before it even came out I started this thread viewtopic.php?t=88925#p1496689 discussing that for me the Salt 2 ffg SE could easily be the best ultralight hiking knife (and perhaps should be more marketed as (also) just this), clearly beating the BM Bugout (they have pretty much the same weight) in that role.
For me this has proven itself to be true, as far as I can tell without actually having a Bugout
