I truly appreciate the hard use that you put on your knives. You treat them as the tool not a trophy. I do with most but there’s some I hold back for the future. But nothing compares to a worn in tool.

Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

Really sorry for you and wish you full and quick recovery! What happened?aicolainen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 2:21 amOh man.. I'm feelin' a bit jealous as well.
It's peak winter season here now with nice weather, great snow conditions and more sun/longer days so I shouldn't be jealous at all. But being stuck at home for over a week with a concussion I'm in no shape to enjoy these great conditions we have atm.
I'd rather it be summer so I could at least sit outside in the sun, instead of being trapped inside just feeling guilt for not being able to participate in shoveling some of the massive amounts of snow we've been getting lately.
But then again, suddenly I'll be back to my good ol' self, and I'd be very happy to find that winter wonderland right outside my door :)
Enjoy your time in the Canaries!

/ I am normally more of a total "winter wonderland" guy too and I figure my several pairs of powder and touring skies will sit back home wondering why they don't get to feel and ride the snow

But as said: For a change its also nice to just wear shorts and to bring not much more than a bottle of water and not having to check snow and avalanche conditions.
/ Stretch 1 again with me on a long, sunny volcanoe trail run, still on the island of La Palma

I totally agree. They are just meant and begging to get used, and Rick certainly does just that. Which also gives the knives that imo much better looks over time.

Thanks fellas, I appreciate that. Though the days of everyday use are dwindling, I definitely look forward to a few hours and here there when I can help out in the warehouse! Perfect timing for this Military drop since I've been in the warehouse a lot this week. I definitely like to try and show that these knives love to work, and hold up amazingly well.Wartstein wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 12:05 amI totally agree.
