Another week, another PM2 in the pocket.

Image

The factory edge on this knife is incredible. It’s been with me for months and I haven’t had to even touch up the edge.

How do y’all feel about sharpening S90V?

I have a Sharpmaker with CBN rods, and a Precision Adjust with a 325-grit Diamond plate. My plan is to let this edge dull just a bit, then go to town at 15° per side on the CBN rods.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

That Pattada looks massive! Cool model, always appreciate seeing the not so common knives.

Thanks, Ric. It has the same cutting edge as a Military, but in a smaller package.

Listen, I work in an office dude. This was me hanging a 40 pound peg board above my son's bed that my wife's aunt made. I wanted to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. Most of my work pics are projects around the house, so I have lifetimes less of knife cutting on my blades than you do on your much loved models. So the way I see it is all your hard work has paid off and now you get to enjoy the fruit. You just have to find different things to cut. Like apples. 😂 I think it would be hilarious if one day you have a pic cutting your lunch sandwich on your desk.

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.
