How much time elapses from when a dealer receives their initial 5 "samples" to when they get their full allotment? Just curious

It's not an exact science, but for reference... The first 15v PM2's hit dealers around Feb 16th. Cutlery Shoppe included. Then CS dropped their full allotment on Feb 28th. You can go through the Alert thread and find more examples of a Dealer dropping once and then again at a later date.

I’m wondering how long until this sprint run is sold.

eBay charges around 15% now to sell. If you pay 220 with tax and sell for 300 with shipping you make 35. Why waste your time for 35 dollars I don’t get it.

Do that with 7 of them and you get one for free. If that sounds like a lot, I have seen some of these eBay scalpers listed as having sold 20 or more.

I don’t really understand bots but that has to be the only way to get that many.

I have not done it in a long time but there are websites that help with this. I think they give you alert if there is a change to the website, so going from out of stock to in stock would count.

No idea how fast the alert is but it may be worth a try.

Yeah that makes sense. Been trying to pay attention to this. Seems like 2-3 weeks between. Large dealers on the shorter end and smaller ones a bit longer...

I am not a programer, but it should be pretty easy to write a script which tracks changes to either URLs or content of web pages, like the 'add' button.

I am pretty sure Beau uses such tool to run the alert threads.

Good luck everybody.

Idk if it's just me. But for s**ts & giggles, after I score 1, I sometimes keep up with the alerts & see how many more I could have gotten. Call it training for the next upcoming drop💪. Maybe I've just been lucky but this drop has been easier than the Manix. I wonder how many PM2's were made vs the Manix. Just thinking out loud.

I stopped by my local gun/ knife store today and low and behold there was a PM2 15v just sitting in the display case. Needless to say I picked it up. They said it was the last one, so I guess it was good timing. I swapped the blades with the blue smkw M4 lava pm2 as soon as I got home. I’m looking forwarded to seeing how it performs.

If you dig around in the Manix 2 CPM-15V thread you'll see I linked to one with illustrated instructions and and also provided a template configuration file.

That said, Beau is still quicker than the script was--though I was only running it at 5 minute intervals.

I was able to get one thru Knife Center on Thursday afternoon. It already showed ready to pick up at my P.O. 11:00a.m. Sat. morning. Alot of people dump on K.C. but I've never had a problem and I almost have $50 in points from previous purchases.

I have purchased two free shipping no tax. It was a struggle but I was finally successful. All three drops today I could have purchased no problem, maybe demand is finally slowing down, or they made more than the Manix drop.

I think I got one from BladeOps - order confirmed, card charged. It was available some 6 minutes after Abba posted in the alert thread. Thanks!

Wasn't planning on getting one, wasn't actively trying, but on the other hand, it is a PM2. And you know me...

I believe GPKnives hasn't dropped yet, so I'd keep an eye on that one.

The AWT scales really are nice. The knife is noticeably lighter with them (since it rids one of the liners). Feel is much better too.

Nice!
I think the AWT Manix scales have convinced me that I need a set for the PM2 also.
