Did DLT drop, or is that post in the alert thread just another off topic reply...?

I've tried to stay quiet through all this drama, but that one bothered me.

DLT doesn't drop their "initial 5." Rather, they wait until they get their full allotment. This seems like an effort to change customer behavior and alleviate stress around "drops." I like DLT a lot.

You can often check out the DLT Drops page for a countdown on highly-anticipated models.

Seems like a good way to feed the scalpers to me.

1. Wait for DLT drop
2. Buy 20 of them at once
3. Profit

It looks like he sold 20 already.
When this sprint run is sold completely people will fight to get these knives at $298 on ebay.

I have a lot of very different Spydie models that I love. But my most consequential, which I judge by the solid feeling of comfort I get when it’s on me for whatever purpose, is the PM2.

So, when a sprint of it in a must-have steel looks to be frenzied (clearly more than the Manix2 I was glad to score), I’ll spend the money now, as I have with highly-rated Deadwood, rather than hope for luck among the sharks, let alone wait on an OpFocus opportunity.

A bit of a discount and free-shipping made my transaction easier to swallow. So does its arrival, perhaps by Saturday.

I've been out of the loop since the 15v Manix. I opened up IG today and saw the PM2 already shipping and sold out wherever it dropped. I found the Alert Thread and set up notifications. Thanks to Buddafucco, a couple hours later, & I have one getting prepped for me at Knife Center. Not even enuff time to feel any fomo. Thank u to all the brothers that post up the info and DON'T CLOG UP THE ALERT THREAD. And thanks again to Buddafucco. He should be cantanized for sainthood. Good luck to the rest of yawl.

Happened to be looking through my email and saw a DLT stock notification come through, and I was able to get one. Pure chance was on my side, although from the looks of it they are raining down on the people today, so maybe the chances were a little more on my side than usual. In any case, I'm pleased. Wasn't expecting to get one given how fast they've been going.
