if m4 is more resistant to corrosion than 1095 from esee, maybe it wouldn't be as bad for me as i have always thought. i still hate the idea of rust or corrosion on an expensive gentleman's knife, but you've shown me that i'm just being silly because it looks great.

the sebenza is a work knife too, but lots of people see it as a gentleman's folder too. i don't think the two are mutually exclusive and i think it's a great compliment to a designer that they can make something that crosses those lines.JRinFL wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 3:14 pmI think GB might get a chuckle from someone calling his work knife "an expensive gentleman's knife"!ladybug93 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 3:03 pm

Dying to try out some new knives like the Kapara and GB2, but in school now so I have be content with what I have for now. Which is not a bad thing. Pm2 is my comfort knife (is there such a thing? )

That wharnie profile looks like it really excels at that particular task. ;-)

Thanks, yes it does. The Wharnecliffe in general has become a favourite for work. I have the Canis as well and alternate between the two though the longer YojUmbo comes in handy sometimes.

We do similar work, have you tried any sheepsfoot blades? I may actually prefer it to a wharnie. I'm going to carry one of each tomorrow now haha
