if m4 is more resistant to corrosion than 1095 from esee, maybe it wouldn't be as bad for me as i have always thought. i still hate the idea of rust or corrosion on an expensive gentleman's knife, but you've shown me that i'm just being silly because it looks great.
I think GB might get a chuckle from someone calling his work knife "an expensive gentleman's knife"! :beaming-face

the sebenza is a work knife too, but lots of people see it as a gentleman's folder too. i don't think the two are mutually exclusive and i think it's a great compliment to a designer that they can make something that crosses those lines.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Dying to try out some new knives like the Kapara and GB2, but in school now so I have be content with what I have for now. Which is not a bad thing. Pm2 is my comfort knife (is there such a thing? 😅)

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

That wharnie profile looks like it really excels at that particular task. ;-)

Thanks, yes it does. The Wharnecliffe in general has become a favourite for work. I have the Canis as well and alternate between the two though the longer YojUmbo comes in handy sometimes.

We do similar work, have you tried any sheepsfoot blades? I may actually prefer it to a wharnie. I'm going to carry one of each tomorrow now haha
