Gabo, what's the Bowie in your picture? Looks very nice. :)

And is that part of a tip on the right a small (classic?) Sebbie (next to the large Sebbie) :confused:

Cotton gloves!

#22

Post by UK KEN »

[quote="Mr Blonde"]Hey Chaddakin ]

Wouter putting away is fine; apart from handling the knives I enjoy setting them out in a new order in my cabinets ;) As you say, the setting up of the photo is the most time consuming even if as I did you simply lay them out randomly.

YES! COTTON GLOVES!

I have just bought some on eBay! I remember all the removing of fingerprints I had to do last time I did a "BIG" shoot!

I intend to set up a ladder with my camera mounted to it, so I can get a shot from as centrally above the group as I can. I will be on a second ladder so as not to shake the camera whilst taking the photos.

The :spyder: C01 to C97 will be arranged in the centre in production order with the variations around the outside. I'll have to get on with it as the summer will soon be over in the UK and good light is essential to a reasonable shot.

It will take some time carrying the knives from my "office" to my garden and setting the shot up so I hope to get a fair result.

Cheers, Ken

Hello DW!
clever idea. did you trace the spyder and cut it out or is that a punch? Mine is rather crude and needs to be redone. Looking to get a serrated Cricket someday. Take care.

Wow, that's a mighty fine start to your collection! Some "choice" spydies!
