That is an Ed Schempp Persian. Every time I see one I kick myself for not getting one back in the day.

Very cool. I met Mr. Schempp at Blade Show in Atlanta this year. Nice laid back guy.

Thanks! I am actually considering the Myrtle as well. I found one at a local shop NIB.
The Hanan is okay, except for the compression lock access, which is cramped. Also, the pocket clip doesn't easily go into thicker pants pockets.
Re: Throwback Thursday Carry
Is the Sprint Run C-60 Ayoob going to qualify for "Throwback Thursday"? Probably not because there were a few modifications to the newer Cruwear model.
Anything in the GOLDEN ERA of Spyders ( 1998-2004) should more than qualify for a "Throwback Thursday" appearance. So many super classics from that era.
I've got a really old Spyder on me today. It is the stainless RESCUE model out of the ATS-55 era. One of my favorite eras in Spyder-History.

I finally got the Myrtle.
It was hard to open at first, but after manually opening and closing it two-handed a couple dozen times, it now opens much more easily.
