Got the pivot tightened back down. Enjoyed carrying this one today. It did some work slicing up steaks, quartering apples and breaking down some boxes for recycling later.
Maybe I do need to pickup that 4V model, just to throw some Micarta scales on...
I'm debating what to do with my scales. I could put micarta on the 4V, black g10 on it, or leave it stock. Or I could try to track down another set of micarta, but last I looked they had been out of stock for months.

Few knives match the high quality feel of this particular Manix XL. Day to day I prefer my lightweights, but they can't match just how solid this thing feels during use.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

First snow flurries in our area last night. Only lasted a couple minutes, but long enough to snap a pic.

That is a great pic LB! Growing up in Central Florida we lived on old family property. One of the features of this property that I got to play around with was a small swamp filled with Cypress Trees. Always neat when it occasionally dried out and you could walk around the knees and plays games as kids.

If you see a strange guy waving at you, it might be me. Or just one of the many other strange guys in Florida.

Titanium scales raise the M2 to whole other level. I just put mine on a few days back, loving it.
