Hi gents, long time lurker, rarely an OP here.
Just started experimenting with different steels and recently purchased a Lil' Native in serrated edge and a Caribbean, also in SE. Inspired by the serrated edge thread, I just have to try it out.
I watched Sal's video on using number 3 side of the SharpMaker stone to sharpen SE knives (4 downward strokes on the angled side, and 1 downward stroke on the opposite side).
But I don't know if I should use the 30 degree or the 40 degree slots on the angled side of the blade, and what angle on the flat side of the blade. I will appreciate any advice and wisdom you'll throw my way.

Welcome aboard!
This thread (also pinned at the top) is very long but filled with lots of advice about sharpening serrated edges. It is well worth the time to read and digest. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=84985

Most of the time, Serrated Spydercos will use the 40° slots. You can use a sharpie and cover the teeth to see where you hit.
If you it the points of the teeth, or the whole teeth, you are on the right slot. the 3 SE knives I own from Spyderco all go on the 40° slots, but I have to search for the actual angle myself (by feel) because the angle is a bit higher than the 40 slots propose

I totally agree with Ramonade - I like the sharpie method on my first sharpening to see where the original angle is established- it’s such an easy method of getting started
