The reasons Exclusives are not selling out in minutes is more than increased quantity produced. Look at the recent Fradon Para3 with just 600 produced and it took 8 hours to sell out. Other reasons are so many Exclusive & Sprint variations of each model has been tried and now the prices are also a big factor. There are many Exclusives which were released weeks and months ago which are still in stock.

Exclusives are very popular with dealers and Spyderco due to financial reasons.

There are still Fradon Elmax marbled carbon fiber Para 3's in stock. I just ordered one this morning (08/19/22). To confirm, I just received the shipping notification that it shipped.

I've purchased 25 spyderco knives since July 1st and several other brands as well. However, this is bad *** and I'm seriously considering getting one of these. I keep saying the last knife I purchased is it but we all know how that goes.

Im going to have to cut some discretionary things from the budget next month, but I have missed every single REC drop since they started doing them for one reason or another. I may or may not succeed, but I'm going to try to get one. I really like the manix as a knife, and this would be a great one to add to the collection. I also don't have any 204P steel from Spyderco. So, bonus.

Oh, you'll have a chance to get used to that. Happens all the time with exclusive knife drops of any kind, to Spyderco or any big, sought after manufacturer. Between the scalpers, the collectors and the die hard fans, and the newsletters and social media advertisement these sellers put out to hype up the drop, it's fairly common to see an entire run sell out in a couple minutes. Sometimes the merchant's site gets absolutely overwhelmed, which can be extremely frustrating.

When REC did the Lil' Native in FDE and 204P I think they sold out in under a minute. No idea how many of these Manixes they had but sometimes the allocations on specials are even smaller than anticipated and between that and the demand and the hype, it's a real effort to try and score one.
