my references say that "many" 3rd pattern knives were marked ENGLAND like yours is. Much more imprtant is the condition of the grip, with the finish worn like it is the WW2 copperwash is quite obvious. A broad arrow acceptance mark may be visible in the ferrule area of the grip and a mould number ranging from 1 to 4 near the pommel end. it looks like the moulding marks have been removed from the handle also. All in all two very nice knives.

PS if you are interested in correct sheaths for these knives, the chap here in Auckland makes those too, with correct chapes etc.
