OK, so I'm currently limited in my choice of background / scenery, but in the interest of keeping this going, I'll post. Plus, I posted the "Phone or camera" post here (and the thread in Off-Topic); and got a friendly challenge from RevMike, so I figured I'd post something.

I'm still working on getting good photos with my phone; took this while waiting on poke nachos at a food truck.

So...

Wow - that's big.

I'm going to have to learn how to resize and crop as well, I suppose - new at editing on my phone as well...

Jason
Ha Ha! Looks good! Thanks for joining!

Very nice! We have a Chef's week going on. I know a few other owners out there. It's a gorgeous knife.

I think we should hang in there and keep working at keeping this going.
Perhaps some minor recruitment in other threads.

Yes, I'm quite a stud. :winking-tongue

It's actually a very good Hawaiian truck near our house. Coincidentally my wife just picked some up last night in fact. Poke nachos and bulgogi - good stuff!

actually, this is the edge of a large ditch between two parking lots at work. it's the opposite of a nice area, but you can do a lot with a small area and some creative framing. when you don't have beautiful, sweeping mountainscapes like wartstein, you have to get closer and hide as much background as you can.

:grin-squint

eta: here is the spot i took the picture, circled in red. you can see another parking lot and buildings just beyond the tall grasses.

Exactly made do with what you got . I surprise myself sometime doing the same thing . I’m always experimenting trying to eliminate poor background . The Austrian Avenger has a gravy train for pics . Ha ! MG2

Ladybug93's crative mind influenced me this week.
I wanted to pay hommage to the Native 5 G10, wich hasn't left my pocket since I got it (once again) !
I wanted an outdoor shot but I was working and now I'm very ill, so...
Here it is :squinting-tongue

:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.
