First one in 1989!

Only ever sold one and gave one away! Now have more than I need but not as many as I want and as far as Mrs G is concerned, "This one?! Oh, I've had it ages!!"

Total right now: 14 & a Pelican
Started: Aug 99

So far:
c07p, c10pbk, c11sbk, c14syl, c21pbk, c28p(edc & engraved), c29s(ss and tufram), c35s(standard), c36gpse, c39(micarta), c41psbk, c49gpse, c52(pbk, sbk, pgy), c53pTi, c57p, c64p(drop point), c66p, c69p(drop point), c71(combo edge alum, blue, green and tan), c75(bone), c77pbl(forum model), c78pbl(forum model), c92(pe cocobolo), FB01(mirror polish, convex edge, leather sheath, #ed), FB05(pe and se), FB09(#ed), FB10(#ed), LBK(ce, bought and given away 5-6, lost 1), JBK(se green), JSP(ss/pe), SC01(pe), BY05

so thats... ~40-41 in 6yrs, 15 left... not too bad.

How about customs... Dec 03 I got my "first" custom(done to spec, full custom), had already won a custom on bfc a month before...
Coming up on 2yrs of customs, have 6 of the 7...

Tichbourne "Flyfishing", H5 & H7(modified for left hand, 2 pins, kydex liner in sheath)
Leavitt EDC Drop points(bucote on right, cocobolo on left), traded cocobolo warncliffe(the one I won on bfc)
LHK skean dhu(cocobolo, copper bosters and pins, 5160... custom to spec)
Coffee before Conciousness
Why do people worry more if you argue with your voices than if you just talk with them? What about if you lose those arguements?
Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.

The First Spyderco I ever bought was a SS Mariner with GIN-1 fully serrated in 1995

Right now I probably own about 130 of them not counting some of my EDCs

All together if you count all of the ones I have done trades with and gave away as gifts or just to make friends with people I have probably went through   Well to be honest I can't really say

I don't plan on quiting anytime soon. As a matter of fact I have several items here at the house I plan on selling so I will have more Spyders to enjoy.

Now my knife collecting is not just limited to Spyders I also like Benchmade, Buck, Cold Steel and a few Victorinox. I will not let myself get into custom knives at all. IF I did I would surely be living under a bridge. :D :spyder:

FIRST SPYDERCO: 1997 (Snap-It) I got it for $29 at Dick's Sporting Goods in a mall becuase the guy behind the knife counter didn't know what it was and couldn't find a price. He thought it was a Buck or Schrade but I knew it was a Spyderco. It was the first Spyderco I ever saw in person. I told him I wanted to buy it and he got so flustered looking for a box for it with a price that he said "I don't know! How does $29 sound?" He was comparing it to some Buck or something. I looked at him and thought "WOW, this guy has no clue what this is!" LOL ;) :D

TOTAL SPYDERCOS: 27

Delica FRN SE
Delica FRN CE
Delica SS PE

....I now have 267  (excluding :spyder: for sale) I didn't realise there were that many.

First :spyder: about twenty years ago but only started collecting about three years ago. I have sold and traded about 400 and given a few away as gifts. My son, (7) is showing so much interest in them that I feel they will pass into safe hands.

I bought the first one 4 years ago. Since then I sold only one and what I kept can bee seen on my website. Maybe my customized Pride doesn't count anymore as what is left from it is only by ~ 30 % a Spyderco considering the used parts. :D

Nice!!! :D

Just a quick look see, it looks like your good self, JDSpydo and The Deacon are the front runners!

I think it's even better no-one plans giving up any time soon! ;)

But, I think this thread could do with some pics! :D
