Yep, it is Diamond Like Carbon.
This is one of the reasons that I love this board. I learned something that I had completely wrong, which happens with a fair amount of frequency on this board.
I also thought it was Diamond Like Coating, but stand corrected. I suppose I could have also looked at Spyderco's glossary...

this is the first time I've seen Spyderco advertise DLC as increasing corrosion resistance. Pretty cool to see since in my experience it's definitely the case!
