On the way skitouring with the Salt 2.

Nice, sunny ascent, then skiing downhill in pretty fresh powder where the red line is in the background.

Life is good. :smlling-eyes

This photo makes me desire an ikuchi…a model I’ve never considered before! This year I was lucky enough to treat myself to a couple of “finer” Taichung models that I only carry in the evenings and weekends…something to remind me that while I work my butt off in a dirty job all day, I don’t have “carry that home” with me. The ikuchi might fit in well with the kapara and Watu!

Also, this photo makes me want a fixed blade version of the SE caribbean.

I did this most of 2021 and the last couple weeks of the year I pulled the trigger before the price increases…don’t put it off any longer!

Cerberus scales. I’ve had these Jade-G 10 scales for a while. Dyed them dark blue yesterday. The translucent quality is kinda nice.

These scales are modeled after Strider handles, they give a lot more finger real estate.

I have that Strider love without the Strider pain in my wallet (or so I tell myself.)

Yes , it is a challenge for me , Watu is one of my picks sometime this year . I have points stashed to soften the price jump . Thank you for reply . MG2
