Delica Jigged Bone Paperwork

#1

Post by hardkiss »

Good evening Spyderco fanatics! I was hoping to be able to utilize the collective here. Is this paperwork for the damascus Delica authentic? My photo isn’t the best so I apologize for that.

I can't say if it is legit or not. It needs a good editor is all I'll say.

I'm not sure but maybe you can ask spyderco for this paperwork? If you are a collector and this is important to you. If you are wondering if your jigged bone delica is fake, I have never heard about or seen a fake of that model.

Thank you for the help. I sold the blue jigged bone on another forum (eBay) and the buyer is giving me an incredibly hard time about authenticity since the barcode is no longer attached to the pouch and the paperwork is as such. The knife itself is it’s own authenticator so I am not sure what the buyers problem is.

I have a friend who has both limited edition Delica models. He is out of town until Sunday. I will have him take a pic of paperwork to compare . No surprise eBay can have some people selling that can be a real pain . I try to stay away from there most of the time .

Ugh thats terrible. Hopefully it can get resolved amicably. I don't sell on ebay anymore, only bladeforums for me now. So far no problems.

I think the forums going forward is my best bet. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you very much. The buyer has the honey jigged bone with paperwork that looks very different than mine.

My friend may have the honey jigged bone and I know he has the anniversary model. I will send info as soon as he gets back from out of state . MG2

I contacted my buddy . He has the honey jigged bone which came out in 2011 and the blue came out in 2010 . The paperwork is different due to description of the knives . Sorry wish I had better news for you . MG2

Hey, Hardkiss:

I checked our letter archives and that letter is authentic. The wording and format match the original for that knife.

Our grammar and style have improved since then.

Stay safe,

Mike

Since the Delica were made a year apart I would expect them to be different . I didn’t see anything unusual, seems like the Spyderco style . Hope you can get this resolved .
