Well since I do not have a G10 Manix 2 I guess i'll get on that train too.
I do not own SPY27 either, prior to me joining the forum the feedbacks I had of this steel were that it was pretty close to s30v.
i know a lot of people get excited about steels that have better edge retention, but i'm completely fine with s30v. at this point, the manix is my favorite knife and i'd like one with spyderco's special sauce, even if it's not an upgrade.
I get why they get excited ^^. Personnally, I already own Maxamet so i'm ok on that side. I'm just super interested in how the steel sharpen, cuts, feels, etc once it gets in my hands ! For example if you just look at Dr Larrin's stats on CTS-BD1N or LC200N it's not stellar, but for a weird reason they get duper sharp under my keep
In the collection : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Also extremely interested in this? I've been wa ting to try some SPY27 and I feel like the g10 variant would be the way to go.

i still want a g10 manix in spy27, but after reading more about magnacut, i'm kind of hoping for one of those even more. i'd buy either, and maybe both.

I would buy both in a heartbeat . Just hope they don’t come out at same time , that way my wife will allow me in the house . MG2

I already own a G10 Manix, but I do hope SPY27 makes its way to some G10 models. And blue G10 would be pretty great. It is a wonderful steel. I haven't had it long, but it is quickly becoming a favorite.
I can't tell a big difference on edge retention. It does get that fairly easy crisp edge like VG-10. I will also say, edge retention may not be as high as some others, but I feel like it can last longer for me by just taking it to a strop. It responds very well to the strop!

i need a g10 manix, but i'm willing to wait for this one. really hoping it is in the works.
still not a peep about this happening. it's a shame we're not seeing the g10 manix get any love. i keep almost buying exclusives, but missing out because they aren't exactly what i'm hoping for. c'mon spyderco... help a guy out.
I feel y’all’s pain but I’m good right now! I love this knife!

i should've just bought this last cruwear model from kc, but i drug my feet a day too long because they told me they had plenty in stock and i wasn't sure about cruwear. still kicking myself, but really still hoping to see spy27 make a g10 appearance.

Me too , I want another G10 Manix2 or XL in a different steel badly . Maybe another Moteng exclusive will pop up this Summer. MG2
