Native 5 G-10 with Liner Options

I have a friend that is looking for a Native 5 G-10 that has liners. What models/steels have the liners? This has nothing to do with strength and has to do with the scales that he is getting that requires liners. So what are his options?

Is the newer standard production Native 5s in S30v have liners or linerless?

I think they are all linerless now. Im pretty sure the s110v still had liners up until about 3 years ago... not quite sure.

Tell your friend if he is searching through ebay or bladeforums, look at listings with real pictures instead of stock images and the native 5 g10 models that have a screw in place of a lockbar pin will have liners.

Hi there, there are a few sets of N5s with liners: the older S35VN ones, the S110V ones in blurple G10 and in peel-ply CF, and the clad 154CM/S90V one in CF. I have an older set of custom N5 scales and I will warn you that the handle dimensions on the blurple G10 S110V variant in particular is a bit “off” compared to the others, making scale swaps with that one basically undoable. I’d stick with finding only the older S35VN ones with the screwed-in stop pin as mentioned, or either of the non-fluted CF ones if they want S90V. Cheers, Radioactive

Seems like you can swap them, but you'll want to swap the lock bar with it.

They need to pump out a Cru-carta Native soon since they already have the linered version from the pre-CQI models. Should be as simple as slapped some Micarta slabs on it! I'd take a DLT Trading exclusive Cru-ple Native with the liners as well. It really was such a sweet tank of a knife with those liners. Just never had the "tough" steel like Cruwear to match. The liners on the Cru-carta PM2 made me like that model again after being PM2-less for a long time.
