It’s interesting to me that all these small shops are getting them in, but none of the big name online retailers have them yet. If it’s because Spyderco is taking care of the small mom and pop shops first, then props to them.
I was pondering the same thing. I assumed maybe the small shops were quicker at handling inventory coming in. Less people and paperwork to get it setup. But it’s been a week or so now so maybe you nailed it.
Did the big shops take preorders for a short while?

Spyderco seems to have done a solid job getting the out to multiple dealers, seems like they are slightly elusive but not impossible to obtain like some other models.

Been a spydieholic for a hot minute but never had one in micarta or cruwear. Haven’t connected with any PM2 I’ve handled but have a feeling this one’s a keeper.
I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!
