Spyderco Exclusive Hard Knife Case

#1

Post by Dazen »

How about a custom run of Spyderco Hard Cases from Condition 1, they do custom logo cases with a minimum of 50 units. I can just see one like the picture with a Black bug on the front! What do y’all think?

Edit: They are even made in the USA, right here in my backyard!

I was actually looking over knife cases not even an hour ago on Amazon. I decided to hit the thrift store and buy an old hardshell suitcase and throw some black foam in it. I can make one of these for under $10. I can find foam at construction sites or Home Depot.

Great idea! Cheap, simple and seems less likely to be stolen during a home break-in

I need a Spyderco exclusive safe at this point.

Honestly though, I keep my knives in Large Spyderpacs because they are easier to put in a gun safe. These hard cases are nice but it would be easy to just steal the whole thing and it wouldn’t fit in my safe easily.

I feel like any criminal that sees a pelican case with a pad lock on it is definitely gonna take it. They probably wouldn’t expect it to be knives but it does look valuable.

That said, folks would definitely buy these.

i like that. i might rather buy another knife than one of these cases, but that's a sweet case.

I'm only interested in the custom cut foams in these. Wish there were cheaper options from the Nalpak ones.

I'd love a premium decal made big enough for these types of cases, but paying extra markup on a case that's already expensive is not for me.

I hear y’all that there are a lot of different options out there, but try to find one for this price, quality, size (46+ Knives), USA made and customizable.

More knives first. Then, sneaky hiding spots for the expensive ones. Pelican cases are a thieves 3rd pick after the cash and jewels.

Last push for something like this. I can attest to the quality of these cases because I own one. It’s just nice having all your knives in one spot laid out. It’s also a good sales model for Spyderco, because if one buys the case and it’s not full yet it will taunt them to buy more Spyderco’s to fill it! And yes, it’s easy for a thief to grab but it’s just stuff and insured, and the least of my worries if someone was in my house.

Great idea. I've been thinking along these lines as I acquire more knives.

Cheers.

It must be nice to work in Spyderco's R&D or marketing departments. You'd have this forum to do part of the job for you! :winking-tongue

I might buy something like this.
