I asked BBS to do this, they said they'd be "watching the interest." I also suggested they order up a Military 2 in K390 as soon as it's ready, but they didn't get back to me.

I would kill for a K390 Military (or Military 2) in Ranger Green and K390.

Hey, I'm all for doing away with the whole exclusive idea. Regular production K390 and Ranger Green G-10 (or better yet, Micarta) all day long!

Plus 1 on not a sprint. Regular production. I'd like to see it replace the S110V as the super steel. Far easier to sharpen and probably similar edge holding. Also if people want a stainless super steel, there's plenty of opportunity to get one now.

I have no idea how this will roll out. I think Spyderco has had an earful on the Millie vs Millie2, there is clear support for the current design. But Comp locks are well loved too, and we who love Millie as she is may be a minority of potential future sales. I like it as a liner lock, but would need to use the new version to develop an opinion. That smooooth back strap is excellent.

What I don’t need to “wait and see” about is the blade steel. I love cruwear / Z-wear and won’t buy anything in its “stock” s30v trim. Make MagnaCut the stock option. I don’t think they’d lose sales based on that; those who don’t care still wouldn’t and those who avoid SS in favor of tool steels would be quite happy.

The Millie 1 or 2 would be fantastic in that family of steels. I still like CPM-M4 quite a lot :D

I'd still like to try M4 in a Military. Maybe Blade HQ will re-run their exclusive at some point.

Country Knives still has the M4 Millie in stock but the price is somewhat prohibitive.
