Not a drawer but Nintendo DS pouch, fixed blade lays on it. With that amount of knives this is enough.

Older solutions which i’m not using anymore:
My first proper knife storage - foamed suitcase.

Those are for 25+ knives collection several years ago. Not bad for 20 bucks.

More like Knife Drawers! Military is the only one that doesn’t fit.

I think that knife needs a new home :D

Yeah, that little Gerber multitool is super handy, it's never too far out of arm's reach.

Getting everything out, getting a picture and making a list was definitely a little time consuming, but it was useful to see where everything was and to get an updated snapshot of the collection. I feel like the old adage "out of sight, out of mind" can really become a problem in this hobby!

I hope this thread takes off, it will be cool to get to see some of the collections floating around here.
Getting mine organized like this motivates me to give my different knives pocket time. Otherwise I tend to stick to the same knife week after week. I dump my pockets into an EDC tray and tend to use whatever knife is there. After getting this organized I put my knife back in the drawer after each day. That way I see the full selection each day.

Absolutely. Getting that Apache case a few years ago really helped organize my EDC knives, and made the task of rotating them out very convenient. I've still got a dump tray for my pockets, including the folder that I was or am carrying at a given time, but organization makes many things in life more pleasant and I feel like that gets over looked a lot.
So it goes.

I have this cabinet and a lockable roll away tool cart for the others.

I knew you had a good selection based on your off topic posts but that really puts it into perspective.

Well said. I did the same thing with all my gear - knives, flashlights, pens, sharpies, watches etc. Really makes a difference.

I'm too OCD for a drawer...

I really like your display Tko. Might maybe need to do the same.

Cool thread! :)

I don´t have a knife drawer, my Spydies mostly just lie on a window sill, in the kitchen and on the couch table (or are in some pack), the fixed blades in some shelf...

But I´ll post a pic of all of then together later! :)
Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

This was a hard and nerve wrecking endeavor..

I spread things around sooo much :) Seriously, if I didn't have the case with the cut-outs for each knife, I would have forgotten a few. And even though I could see they were missing, I almost gave up on the Siren and the Bantam. I had no clue. Worked out in the end though :)

Picked up two pluck foam cases on sale a few months ago, one large and one small. Initially planned to use the small one for knives, but then realized the small one was perfect handgun size, and while the large one was too big for my knife needs (or so I thought), it would be more stationary and the over sized case wouldn't matter so much in that role. After inserting my knives and realizing how many I actually have, there is no doubt the small would have been too small.

Totally of topic, but you ordered a DBK knife?
Typical crazy presentation ;) https://youtu.be/GGO0-g-wW0A&t=1s, but I believe this knife will be a real good one.

well... yeah...

Now, to my "defense", it is not because of the DBK name at all. In fact the DBK branding is my biggest gripe with the knife pre receiving it, and almost made me not buy it.
I've heard a lot of good user experiences with TRC knives and their quality in general, and I've been curious to try one for a while. Now it just happens to be that the DBK knife is also one of their most appealing designs, to me. And I also think it will be one of the easiest to flip if it turns out to not be the knife I wanted.

No drawer for me, I decided to use the wall. Spyderco is quickly taking over my collection.

I've been accumulating knives for the past 15-20 years or so, but it's only been in the last 4-ish that I've really "gotten into the hobby." I've never considered myself a "collector," but at this point, I don't think there's any denying that I am haha. My "knife drawer" eventually turned into a Spyderpac, then another, then the small safe, then another overflow pack.. (well only one is an actual Spyderpac.. the others are "Reel Steel" packs.. they're pretty nice). The packs are pretty loosely organized (except for my Native family), but they are generally filled with Spydies, grouped by country of origin. I keep the knife packs hanging in my clothes rack, covered by a jacket, which keeps them concealed, but readily accessible for viewing/selecting my carry for the day. The small safe is concealed in a cabinet in my bedroom.. also easily accessible, but pretty well full-up at this point. I also have all of the knife boxes in containers under my bed.. I've considered buying a larger locking cabinet to store everything in. I also bought an Apache hard case recently with the intention of putting a majority of my accumulation into it and then making some hard decisions about letting some of my knives go.. but haven't gotten around to it yet haha.. the accumulation continues..

As you can see, Spyderco has healthy representation in my collection. :)

Wiha! Knipex! Spyderco! All in one photo? Have I died and gone to heaven?

Those are probably "top drawer" flashlights, too, but can't see what they are...
